Cognate Area (6 credits):
A minimum of 6 credits of course work must be earned outside the three cooperating departments within the College of Technology. Technology Concentration Core (9-12 credits):
The student will be required to enroll in 9-12 credits of course work dependent upon selection of the culminating experience. Additional undergraduate course work may be required to correct deficiencies. Culminating Experience (3-6 credits):
- TMGT 696 - Seminar in Industrial Technology 3 credits
3 credits when taking 12 credits in technology concentration core; or graduate project— 3 credits when taking 12 credits in technology concentration core; or thesis 6 credits when taking 9 credits in technology concentration core.
Notes:
The culminating experience (Manufacturing and Construction Technology 696—3 credits) must be completed during the last semester of course work or after completing 24 credits of the approved program of study.
In general, at least one-half of the 33 credits must be in courses numbered 600 or above. Note:
Courses in the 500 series are open to undergraduates as *400 series. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. A course taken at the 400 level may not be repeated at the 500 level. |
