The School of Nursing at Indiana State University admitted their first class of students in September 1963. The School of Nursing consists of both undergraduate and graduate programs. The undergraduate nursing program currently consists of 4 tracks. These tracks include the traditional four-year campus-based baccalaureate degree (BSN), campus based 15 month accelerated 2nd degree (BSN), a fully online LPN to BSN degree, and a fully online RN to BSN nursing degree. Graduate education includes a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) or Nursing Education. The FNP and Nursing Education concentrations are both available as a Post-Master’s Certificate. Additionally, graduate education offers the Post-Master’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
