BIO 605 - Pharmacology for Medical Students6 credits Lectures, quizzes, and laboratory studies dealing with drug classification as to site and mechanism of action; representative members of each class of drugs are discussed and rational clinical uses emphasized. Laboratory experiments illustrate typical actions of drugs.
Prerequisites admission into medical school or consent of the Director of the Center for Medical Education and the Chairperson of the Department of BIO. Note Required for sophomore medical students
