HIST 622 - Seminar on Popular Movements in the United States3 credits A survey of theory and interpretation and an examination of the significant historical literature relevant to understanding selected American popular movements chosen from, but not limited to, the following: the labor movement, socialism, utopian and radical reform movements, slave and Afro-American struggles, women’s movement, and the1960s radicalism and counterculture.
