CIMT 512 - Literature for Young People3 credits An overview of the role of literature in society and its impact on supporting and extending lifelong learning. Emphasis is on developmental strategies that enable the reader to create, critique, discuss, and enjoy literature including a wide variety of genres. The respect for diversity in society, language, cultural, and ethnic customs is also emphasized.
