PSY 410 - Mind-Body Health and Tai Chi 3 Credits
Description This course explores cross-cultural and integrative medicine approaches to health. Students examine connections between mental health, cognitive processes, bodily movements, and neural mechanisms through neuroscience, psychoneuroimmunology, exercise science, and clinical studies. They engage with East and South Asian health traditions and mind-body practices like Tai Chi, Qigong, yoga, and meditation.
