AET 437 - Hybrid & Electric Vehicle Fundamentals

Description
HEV/BEV architectures, battery chemistries and pack design, traction machines/inverters, regenerative braking, high-voltage safety, and introduction to charging. Laboratory work uses EV training boards and diagnostic platforms. Cross-listed as AET 537 for graduate credit.

This course is offered concurrently at the graduate level (AET 537). In certain circumstances, senior students may opt to take the graduate level version in lieu of this course.
