RCSM 455 - Advanced Public Lands & Recreation Administration 3 Credits
Description This course examines the planning and administration of government agencies and nonprofit organizations that use public lands and/or visitor experiences as tools to intentionally achieve individual, community, environmental, and/or economic outcomes. Students will explore leadership and management decision-making related to current issues, challenges, and trends facing public land management and recreation professionals in municipal, city, county, township, park district, state, and national park systems & public land management agencies; and in nonprofit public lands partners, park foundations, friends groups, conservancies, & associations.
