OSCM 320 - Optimization & Data Visualization

3 Credits

Description
An introduction to two key areas of business analytics. Students will apply Excel Solver to a wide variety of business optimization problems. Data visualization software will be used to gain insight into business problems and to inform decision-making. The course emphasizes critical thinking and effective communication of results to decision-makers.

Prerequisites
BUS 180 or consent of department chairperson.
