Description
Introduction to the systematic and scientific study of language with attention to the nature, structure, and functions of language. Practice in linguistic data analysis and exploration of social and/or behavioral influences on language structure and use. Provides students with information on careers with linguistics, critical thinking, and information literacy skills.
