AHS 425 - Community Nutrition 3 Credits
Description In-depth discussion of nutritional status of population groups, as well as the federal, state, and local public and private community nutrition programs and interventions targeted to meet their nutritional needs. Information on the structure and funding of the community nutritional agencies and programs, including the legislative process, is also discussed.
Prerequisites AHS 201 or AHS 221, and AHS 421; or permission of instructor.
