PHIL 324 - Feminist Philosophies 3 Credits
Description In this course we will examine the contribution of feminist theory to philosophical inquiry. Specifically, the course addresses formative concepts in feminist philosophy and varieties of feminist theories such as Marxist, Postcolonial, African-American, Postmodern, Psychoanalytic, and Poststructuralist. At issue will be how feminist philosophy has responded to difference as well as accounted for some of the gaps in traditional philosophical frameworks.
