PSCI 518 - American Constitutional Law II: Civil Rights and Civil Liberties3 Credits This course is designed to familiarize students with civil rights and civil liberties protected with the American Constitutional tradition. It is not a constitutional law course, although students read case law; nor, is it a course on the Supreme Court, although students examine the role of the Court in solving disputes over rights. It is a course about politics and how a free society control and govern itself.
Prerequisites PSCI 308 or 317 or consent of instructor.
