MATH 592 - History of Mathematics3 Credits
Mathematics is studied through an historical perspective with an emphasis on fitting mathematics into larger social and scientific contexts to show that mathematics is not often taught from the perspective of its original development.
Prerequisites
18 credits of mathematics.
