CHEM 101 - Preparatory Chemistry 3 Credits
Description An introduction to basic principles of chemistry. Topics covered include the structure and composition of atoms and molecules, chemical reactions and stoichiometry, chemical nomenclature, and problem-solving strategies. This course has no laboratory component. It is intended for students who need extra preparation before enrolling in CHEM 105. This course is not intended to serve as a chemistry cognate course in any major.
Prerequisites MATH 015 minimum grade of C, or Maple TA score of 7.
