AVT 413 - Advanced Transport Category Aircraft

3 Credits

Description
Students will be introduced to the operations and procedures of a transport category jet aircraft. Topics discussed include: normal, abnormal, and emergency operations, systems and system malfunctions, auto pilot (AP) usage, and the interactions with the engine-indicating and crew-alerting system (EICAS), electronic flight instrument system (EFIS), and the flight management system (FMS).

Prerequisites
AVT 317 and an instrument rating
