ATTR 647 - Interprofessional Practice in Athletic Training

In this course, students will be introduced to interprofessional practice in athletic training. Students will learn about the wide variety of healthcare professionals that make up a modern healthcare team. Students will learn to determine the appropriateness of referrals to various healthcare professionals based on specific pathologies or patient limitations. Students will learn how to communicate effectively and appropriately with other health care professionals.

Must be admitted to Masters of Science in Athletic Training Program at Indiana State University.
