SOC 569 - Sociology of Sport

The social psychological examination of sport as a social institution in society. Analysis of sport in the context of life cycle, social class, and community and collective behavior, and of sport and play in a cross-societal context.

Prerequisites
6 hours of sociology or consent of instructor.
