HIST 650 - Historical Method and Theory3 Credits
The first half of the course focuses on the method, practice, and writing of history and the second half on the evolution of historical thought from ancient times to the present, with emphasis on the role of history as art and science as well as on the philosophical principles on which the discipline is based.
