Topics include network types and communication models, hardware components, applications, protocols, standards, internetworking and routing concepts, OSI Model, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN networking technologies, computer networks and the internet, application layer, transport layer, network layer, link layer, wireless and mobile networks, security in computer networks.

Prerequisites
C or better in one of the following - CS 101, CS 151, CSS 130, CSS 131
