SPAN 404 - Spanish Phonetics 3 Credits
Description Study of the formation of speech sounds in the Spanish language. Intensive practice in pronunciation with an emphasis on articulation, rhythm, and intonation. Includes study of dialectal variation and application for language teaching.
Prerequisites SPAN 301 or equivalent.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
