MUS 202 - Functional Instrumental Techniques

2 Credits

Description
Introduction to the tone production and basic characteristics of woodwind, brass, percussion, and string instruments. Familiarization with typical instrumentation for band, wind ensemble, and orchestra, and the function of various instruments in these ensembles as well as representative literature.

Open to voice and piano principals only.
