MUS 101 - Fundamentals of Music 3 Credits
Description Preparatory course in basic musicianship, covering elementary aspects of rhythm, notation, key knowledge, intervals, scales, and triads; skills applied through sight singing, ear training, and keyboard activities.
Prerequisites Undergraduate Placement Examination in Music Theory.
Note Students must earn a grade of C or better in order to proceed to the next courses in the sequence, 111 and 113.
