COMM 459 - Communication Law 3 Credits
Description Students will examine the history and current state of law governing the practice of communication including free speech, media content, and organizations. Students will demonstrate their understanding of the complex legislative, juridical, and regulatory environment for communication practice by direct engagement with specific, current real-world issues arising in that environment.
Prerequisites COMM 204 and 209; open to students who have achieved junior class standing or higher.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
