CHEM 461 - Physical Chemistry I

Description
Chemical thermodynamics, including the three laws and phase equilibrium and its applications; chemical equilibrium; imperfect gases and equations of state.

Prerequisite/Corequisite
Prerequisites: 106; Mathematics 132; concurrent enrollment in 461L.

Note
Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature. Unless otherwise stated, all chemistry courses require laboratory work.
