BIO 507 - Cancer Genetics

4 Credits

Students will discuss concepts in cancer epidemiology, pathology and treatment. The combination of laboratory and lecture will provide a unique environment to truly understand and work with both cells and clinical laboratory results so that students can recognize common hereditary cancer syndromes and use appropriate models to provide accurate risk assessment and treatment/screening guidelines.
