MGT 461 - New Venture Experience 3 credits
Description Students will develop and operate a new venture, participate as a member of a new venture team, or work as an intern with a new venture or company in a new initiative (intrapreneurship).
Each student must submit a plan for how they will complete the course objectives and that plan must be approved by the instructor prior to the beginning of the course.
Prerequisites MGT 210 and concurrent enrollment in MGT 444 or consent of department chair and instructor.
Restrictions All students must submit an application to the course that indicates how the student plans to meet the experiential requirements of the course.
Note This is a required course for students in the Entrepreneurship minor. This should be taken in the senior year, after successful completion of MGT 210 and concurrent enrollment in MGT 444.
