Description This course expands on knowledge and experience from Generalist Social Work Practice I and Field Practicum. It is an in-depth examination of the problem solving steps in generalist practice with groups and families. Highlights include mezzo interventions. Special attention is given to populations-at-risk and to ethnically and racially sensitive practice.
Prerequisites SOWK 490, SOWK 491, and SOWK 498 all with C or better. Concurrent enrollment in SOWK 494 and SOWK 499. Admission to the SOWK major.
