LING 417 - Language Differences and Linguistic Universals 3 credits
Description Study of the sounds and structures of natural languages, focusing on the distinction between language-particular and universal features and on the differences among languages that cause problems for second-language learning. Laboratory work included.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
