AVT 317 - Technically Advanced Aircraft

Description
Through lectures, discussions and computer based simulations students will learn to operate a glass cockpit aircraft. Coverage includes: basic layout, components, operating principles, navigation and flight planning, and coping with system failures. Students will also be required to complete glass-cockpit training in the department’s simulation laboratory.

Prerequisites
Successful completion of AVT242 or AVT243, with a C grade or higher, or an Instrument Rating, or consent of instructor.
