AHS 491 - Health Sciences Internship

6 credits

Description
This required internship provides students with intensive field experience in a health setting at the local, state,or federal level.

Prerequisites
All required major courses including AHS 480 (Senior Seminar) must be completed with a minimum grade of “C” prior to participation.

Note
Students are encouraged to only register for an additional 6 credit hours of distance courses during the fall and spring semesters for a total of 12 credits hours (6 credit hours for internship and 6 credit hours if courses are online). Students registering for internship during the summer semester are encouraged to only take 3 additional online credit hours.
