MUS 500D - Secondary Piano Review

This course is designed for students with deficiencies in the keyboard proficiency portion of the Graduate Music Placement Examination, and does not count toward a degree. The course is a review of undergraduate keyboard skills, emphasizing sight-reading, harmonizing, and transposition. Upon completion of the course, the student must pass the Graduate Keyboard Proficiency Exam in the chosen concentration with a grade of 70% or better.

Designed for those who fail or prefer not to take the keyboard proficiency section of the Graduate Music Placement Examinations. May be taught either individually or in a group.
