RCSM 425 - Sport Sponsorship

3 credits

Students will develop a complete understanding of how sport properties can create effective commercial alliances with corporations through the creation and execution of sponsorship agreements. A major emphasis is given to understanding the theoretical reasons behind the effectiveness of sports sponsorships as communication vehicles. Students will also learn how to prepare sponsorship proposals, and critically evaluate their strategic implications.
