TAM 415 - Resist Techniques in Surface Design 3 credits
Description An exploration of resist techniques in surface design on textiles using chemical dye processes. Shibori techniques of fold and clamp, stitch, pole-wrapping, and binding resists, batik, and hand painting are covered.
Prerequisites TAM 101, 214, 217, 314, or consent of instructor.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
