SOC 471 - Medical Sociology 3 credits
Description Applies sociological concepts to issues of health, illness, and the medical care systems. Focuses on the social psychology of illness, death, and dying, as well as the current health care delivery system.
Prerequisites SOC 280 plus junior/senior class standing.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
