SOC 421 - Sociology of Aging and Retirement 3 credits
Description The sociological analysis of aging in modern society, the attitudes and values which surround the processes, the social definitions which make aging a personal and social problem, and cross-cultural comparison of the aging experience.
Prerequisites SOC 280 plus junior/senior class standing.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
