MUS 424 - Marching Band Procedures

1 credits

Description
Philosophy, administration, and instruction for the school marching band program. Practical experience in show design and rehearsal techniques with the University Marching Band as a laboratory ensemble.

Prerequisites
MUS 211 and 213 or concurrent enrollment in 211 and 213; concurrent enrollment in 409 for wind and percussion principals; completion of 62 credits.

Note
Two class hours a week. Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
