TAM 416 - Merchandise Buying and Assortment Planning

Description An in-depth study of the roles of merchandise buyers in central, resident, and store buying. Emphasis is placed on buying practices and techniques, market resources, and market-trip preparation.
Prerequisites TAM 216, 313 and junior or senior standing, or consent of instructor.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
