CS 471 - Operating Systems

3 credits

Description
Major topics include system structure, memory management, and process management. Hands-on experience using the department’s minicomputer facilities are an important part of the course.

Prerequisites
CS 202 or consent of instructor.

Note
Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
