CRIM 423 - Juvenile Delinquency 3 credits
Description The nature and extent of delinquency in the United States and the system response to juvenile crime. Particular attention is given to the organization and functions of community agencies and institutions including police, courts, and correctional agency responses to juvenile offenders, and the effectiveness of these responses.
Prerequisites 6 credits of criminology or consent of instructor.
Note Open to graduate students. Graduate students are required to do additional work of a research nature.
