Description
Use of the IPA symbols in analyzing, categorizing, and transcribing the sounds of English. Emphasizes the understanding of the processes involved in the production of specific phonemes, normal and disordered. Includes practice in phonetic transcription with prepared tapes.

All communication disorders courses may require observation experiences in addition to class time.
