ARTS 450 - Alternative Art Forms 3 credits
Description This studio course challenges the conventional idea of art as discrete, autonomous objects displayed independent of their physical contexts in traditional gallery settings. A variety of contemporary non-traditional forms will be presented in each offering.
Prerequisites ARTS 101, 102, and 104; or consent of instructor.
Note Course may be repeated twice for credit. Studio class for majors, non-majors. Offerings to include: Performance Art 450A, Installation Art 450B, and other topics to be determined.
