ARTH 373 - Women Artists3 hours Description An introductory survey of women artists from the medieval period until the present day, with emphasis on the role, status, biography, and particular problems faced by women artists during various cultural periods and the twentieth century. Prerequisite/Corequisite Prerequisite: Art 271 and 272, or passing a proficiency test. Art 100, 151, and 401 do not fulfill the art history requirement for art majors.
