Applied Medicine Learning Outcomes

Outcome 1: Students will demonstrate knowledge and practical skills within the biological, behavioral, and clinical sciences. |
1.1 Practical skills: Demonstrate basic practical skills necessary for safe patient interaction/handling during a medical evaluation. |
1.2 Theory application: Demonstrates knowledge and ability to apply theories from clinical sciences. |
Outcome 2: Students will identify and assume personal accountability for ethical, political, and legal concerns consistent within the healthcare pro. |
2.1 Political infrastructure: Students will present on the political infrastructure of their desired profession per taking a political stance. |
2.2 Scope of practice: Students will describe the scope of practice within the legal infrastructure of their desired profession. |
2.3 Ethical behavior: Students will demonstrate ethical behavior in an interdisciplinary health environment. |
Outcome 3: Students will integrate professional behaviors and communication within the interprofessional healthcare environment. |
