APN 697 - Evidence Based Practice for Advanced Practice Nurses 3 credits This course is designed to prepare advanced practice nurses to base clinical decision making on current research. Problem based learning will be used to examine clinical research, develop evidence based guidelines based on that research, and design an evaluation plan to determine the effectiveness of the guidelines.
Prerequisites Prerequisite courses: 633. As this course is a substitution for a culminating project or thesis, this course must be taken during the final semester of the graduate nursing program.

Through hands-on work, lectures, discussions, and reading assignments, students will learn about job searches, graduate schools, resumes, professional correspondence, artist’s statements, documentation of work, academe, grants, health hazards, professional ethics, and related topics.

ARTS 650 - Advanced Alternative Forms 3 credits This studio course will investigate advanced approaches to contemporary alternative art forms. Students will be expected to pursue independent research in alternative art forms in relation to their work for the final visual exhibition. A variety of contemporary non-traditional forms will be presented.
Prerequisites consent of instructor.
Note Studio class for majors, non-majors. Offerings to include: Performance Art 650A, Installation Art 650B, and other topics to be determined. Repeatable May be repeated for a maximum of 9 credits.
