Social Welfare Minor

The social welfare minor is an interdisciplinary program administered by the Departments of Social Work, Economics, and Political Science. Students in the minor are normally advised by faculty in the Department of Social Work; students with majors in economics or political science are advised within the department of their major.

PSCI 330 - Introduction to Public Administration 3 credits
SOWK 130 - Introduction to the Fields of Social Welfare 3 credits
SOWK 240 - Family and Child Welfare 3 credits
SOWK 252 - Social Welfare and Social Work 3 credits
