Insurance Sales Certificate

(15 credits)

Help people attain financial security, peace of mind, and preservation of dignity with the Insurance Sales Certificate. The insurance sales certificate provides students with an opportunity to develop and document selling skills while also acquiring product knowledge within the insurance sector.

Required Courses (12 credits):

Choose one (either BUS 361 or MKTG 301) from the following:
BUS 361 - Principles of Marketing 3 Credits
or
MKTG 301 - Introduction to Marketing 3 Credits
MKTG 344 - Professional Selling 3 Credits
INS 340 - Introduction to Risk and Insurance 3 Credits
Choose one (either MKTG 444 or MKTG 445) from the following:
MKTG 444 - Salesforce Management 3 Credits
MKTG 445 - Business Negotiations 3 Credits

Elective Courses (Choose 3 credits):

Any other INS course 3 credits.
