The primary objective of this degree is to provide an opportunity for graduate students to further develop their knowledge and understanding in an area of expertise or interest.

Core (9 credits):

PE 601 - Research in Health and Human Performance 3 credits

Choose one of the following:

PE 665 - Sport in American Society 3 credits

Choose one of the following:

PE 660 - Motor Learning and Human Performance 3 credits
PE 680 - Advanced Physiology of Exercise 3 credits
PE 681 - Seminar in Exercise Physiology 3 credits
PE 685 - Biomechanics of Sports Techniques 3 credits

Required (12-15 credits):

PE 681 - Seminar in Exercise Physiology 3 credits
Data processing competency required.

Choose one of the following:

PE 602 - Independent Research in Health and Human Performance 1-3 credits
PE 660 - Motor Learning and Human Performance 3 credits
