3-6 credits An opportunity for guided field experiences in administration, consultation, or supervision in early childhood education. The internship experiences are planned jointly with the student, the early childhood education faculty member, and field personnel under whose direction the student is working. The student is expected to demonstrate the ability to apply current early childhood education theories and practices in fulfilling the assignment. The student’s transcript will designate the area of specialization.
Note An internship may be completed in more than one area of specialization, but no more than 6 semester hours may be counted toward meeting degree requirements.
