AFRI 498 - Teaching African and African American Studies3 credits Description This course introduces students to the fundamental principles and methods of African and African American studies. Its major objective is to provide a foundation for a thorough-going analysis of the pedagogy of African and African American studies. Students will explore and examine the various forms and contents of syllabi, class notes and lectures, class presentations, and classroom management in the field.
